Dr. Austin M. Levin
Dr. Austin M. Levin, attended Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for his undergraduate studies, where he majored in Biology with a minor in Business. Dr. Levin was on a mission to fulfill a lifelong dream of practicing as an Optometrist, following footsteps of his father. He attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS University) in Worcester, Massachussets receiving his Doctorate in Optometry. He completed clinical externships at that Eye and Vision Center in Massachusetts, the Edward M Kennedy Community Health Centers in Worcester and Framingham Massachusetts, an ocular disease rotation at Eye Care Centers of South Florida in Fort Lauderdale and North Miami Beach, and the Providence VA Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Levin is a member of the American Optometric Associtation, and the Rhode Island Optometric Association. His main emphasis is primary care optometry, contact lenses, and ocular pathology, including glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. His passion for optometry and delivering excellent eye care is evident with each patient encounter. In his free time, Austin spends time boating , loves Hockey, and time with family and friends.
